hello all.
just came back from fast camp with EUNICE!
even though i expected more from it.
i guess it was alright on the whole.

spiritually i think it was rather enriching.
except maybe if i knew more people it would be more fun.

so it was like a 24 hours without food camp thing.
the theme was to ERADICATE POVERTY.
so yeah.
we had alot emphasized on how poor some countries can be.

on the first day.
we actually built our own CARDBOARD home.
ahaha.suppose to like sleep on the road la.
but then the weather wasnt very friendly.
so after we built we just slept in doors with it.

we also visited the one room flats that were situated behind us.
oh my god la.
its like my first time seeing those flats la.
on the outside..
it looks like any other HDB flats know.
until you actually step into their house then youll realise the world is not that perfect after all.
for me and eunice,
we visited a malay family with chris.(who is supposely able to translate)
ahaha.
there was this old man with two small kids.
i think the kids hardly ever go out and so are not ecposed to people.
so when they saw us.
the younger one started to cry and the older one hid behind the door.
AHAHA.so cute right.
so yeah.after that we went back and had more liturgy sessions.

btw,we gave up almost everything.
everything= handphone,clothe,bag.

they just gave us back like before we left.yup.

on the whole it was really quite an experience.
and if i have time.
i want to participate in such activities more!
:Dso now its back to reality and i have to go study alr!
